Cookie policy

MAAS·studios uses as few cookies as possible. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting — only what's needed to make the site work, anonymised visitor statistics without a cookie, and, with your consent, one cookie to measure which source brought you here.

We only place the maas_attr cookie if you click "Accept all" in the cookie notice. If you submit our contact form, we also always record — regardless of your cookie choice — the page and any referring site for that one enquiry; that's not separate device storage, but part of the enquiry itself.

Visitor statistics without a cookie (Vercel Web Analytics)

To see how many visitors the site gets and via which pages, we use Vercel Web Analytics — without a cookie. Instead of placing a cookie on your device, the service recognises a visit via a hash derived from the incoming request; your IP address is only used briefly to compute that hash and is not itself stored. The hash is automatically discarded after 24 hours and never stored any longer. Nothing is stored on your device and data is not linked back to you personally.

This is separate from the maas_attr cookie above: Web Analytics measures total visitor numbers and always runs (no consent is needed, since no cookie or other device storage is involved); the maas_attr cookie traces one specific enquiry back to its source and is only active after you click "Accept all". Vercel — our hosting provider, see the privacy statement — processes these statistics; there is no tracking across other websites and the data is never linked to a profile of you.

No advertising or profiling

We place no advertising cookies and share no data with ad networks. No profiles are built and no fingerprinting takes place. The attribution cookie is never shared with third parties.

Managing, refusing or withdrawing cookies

You can always delete or block cookies via your browser settings. If you clear maas_consent, the cookie notice reappears and you can choose again. If you click "Necessary only", we don't place the attribution cookie.
